Mixed Media-Wonderful

Hello everyone...it's Mixed Media art 

Today I'm sharing another project using the new Perfect Paints - specifically, the Comic Shimmer mists, Color-Art iridescent paints. My first project for "More than words " challenge with the word "Wonderful" made by cotton cloth base mixed media, that turned out bright and very colorful.

 I was inspired by the color pink and gold.

"'I used the word WONDERFUL, bcoz, February gives me a lot of wonderful moments, I won Dusty attic last month challenge, and plus 3 more other blog challenges....(Lulupu, Rheddy's creative and 613 avenue create)"

I got this different look by using a base of black gesso, and applying the paints with a dry-brush technique that put the color on with a lighter coating and let the black & white gesso show through in spots. The shimmer of these paints really gives this muted look a beautiful glow...

1. Thick cotton cloth  

2. Gluing on 1mm chipboard 

3. Adding one more layer net design cloth 

4. Prime with black gesso 

 5. Arraigning Emblishments: Dusty attic corner flourish chippies with metal charms.  

6. These are the colors used on this mixed media:

     Iridescent : red, pink and gold

     Shimmerz Mists : Candy pink, Vintage Mulberry 

     Inka Gold for finishing touch.

The beautiful Dustic Attic chipboard is perfect for this mixed media , Some tiny little scattered glass glitter have also added a touch of sparkle and Shine.
