Altered embroidery hoop as a card

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I just thought I'd share my latest 3D decor art
One more altered embroidery hoop.....:-)

I made using the Blue fern studio Frolic collection!. and I always love to use the pretty wood embellishments, I immediately thought of the clock frame to embellish this inside hoop with net cloth, then I added some blossoms on the transparent clock design that goes on top of the front piece. Here is a photo of the first two pieces...

I took this pic of me and my hubby when we were up at my brother's engagement, just before we went out to hall

You can find step by step photos

Here i make it as a card style or open and shut .....something like, so i added one metal embellishment "door butt hings" into the hoop.

5 inch diameter clock

Used 1mm chipboard piece for outer ring(2nd page) of hoop

Here is the design

I also used Crafters workshop stencils to add some texture and design to the corner of my background paper.

I loved the soft pink with the touches of gold

some more close ups

I had so much fun...you guys know how much I love Embroidery hoop! I know I still need more
Keep up with all the crafty goodness by following me ;-)
