Simple and easy gift box

Hello there! I'm super excited to be here today as the Guest Designer for " Try it on Tuesdays Challenge! " and their challenges are always Anything Goes medium. As long as you stay within the challenge theme you can make a card, altered project, ATC, scrapbook page, tag or anything your heart desires. So I sure hope you will join me in putting together something new, and here is my new simple and easy tutorial for you. I am going to show you how to make this 3D Gift Box. Enjoy!
Sometimes the packaging that a gift comes in is an additional gift itself - and those are the kind of packages I like to create! Small boxes are great for gifting all kinds of small stuff, Can't find a gift box that you really love? Try this

1. Cut the chipboard pieces
2. Join the 4 pieces like this
3. Cover with Design paper, white paper and Ribbon
4. Make rectangle open box by using A4 OMR sheet
5. Join together
6. Fill with your gift stuff :-)
This is the design paper i used to decorate this gift box

I hope you have enjoyed this creation.

Welcome Winter

Hello my dear scrapy friends...I hope this season finds everyone well and happy....This layout has sat on my desk half finished for days and days and I realized that I could make it look winter and icy, and enter it into Scrap Around The World challenge which is all about our favorite months, I love wearing sweaters and drinking hot coffee, with yummy cookies, the cold days, and of course preparing for Holidays travel trip.

I took some inspiration from Scrap Around the World December challenge, as always, I was totally in love with their mood board it looked very snowy and winter to me, I loved the photo of the jar with a hint of blue, and the photo of the decorate like tree. I used some gorgeous rhinestone flowers and glass sticks to give it a look of jewels, and I loved the hot cup as well..

Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

Altered tomato catch up bottle

Hello everyone
For those of you who love altering bottles like I do, I have some fun and easy techniques to share with you. I’ve created 3 altered bottles using a same technique on each bottle. These are i made for my uncle's housewarming party gift. I’ll (short)explain techniques I used.

Soak the bottles in water, and remove the labels
Once the bottles are clean and dry, instead of painting Gesso, i used masking tape to cover the bottle
Apply white glue on whole bottle and spread the glass beads
Use the gold & silver metallic spray paint on the bottle
Decorate with solo wood flowers(use difft metallic colors), dry leaves, & lace

This was great fun and I am so pleased to discover that the gem cluster glass beads can be altered so easily. I hope you like my altered bottle.

Thank you for joining today!

Birthday Album

Hello my craft friends and welcome to my blog,

So nice of you to drop by. I would like to share with you my new mixed media Album using Papericious Flora Season A4 paper set. These papers are not that much expensive, you will absolutely love them. The colors are so pretty and there are lots of images for fussy cutting as well.
Here is the front cover.

My neighbor gives me an order to make a gift for her friend's Birthday not long ago and, instead of a Birthday Card, I decided to make a card with Mini Album (A5 size) so she would have to keep the photos taken at her college days.
Some of you may recognize the center piece work. I did a post on my first attempt at Mixed media album ( click here ) and this is the other piece from that project. Here i made, Binding type album, with velvet black cloth.

All the papers used for this album were edged with Walnut stain Distress Ink.
The Title is a die cut Chipboard piece which was colored with Lindy's stamp gang embossing powders and then brushed with multi matte medium and randomly sprinkled with glitter.
The large flowers on album are all available from Itsy bitsy.  The small flowers and the pearls came from my stash.
Here are the pages.

All the pages ( inside front cover) ,i decorate with butterfly, small tags, metal charms, rubber stickers, pearl gems, acrylic paints, ribbon, small & mini blossoms and the flowers which were all fussy cut from this papers.
I do hope you have enjoyed seeing my Birthday Album. I didn't make it as pockets, flap opens, pick up tags...... as I had intended to but I'm sure you can see the potential. I hope I have inspired you to try this Album for yourself. It is gorgeous to work with this papers
