Hello All,
I love finding new way to decorate these little metal tins. This time I took a 8.5cm (diameter) two piece metal tuna tin and created a patina aged look with Gesso and Mists.
So today I will Show you and Give you Ideas how to make your own Altered clocks
What you want to do is come up with an idea of what you want your Tin to look like
Once you Figure out what Style and Theme of alteration you are going for
you will need
you will need

Step by step details
Making 2 legs
Use glue gun in between 2 bottle caps.
First I used black Gesso all over the tin inside and out. I then took the White gesso on top side..... mist in two tones of blue and blue green and mixed each color into gessos until I liked the way the colors looked. I painted on many layers with this mixture. Fun textured look right?.
The embellishments were painted in the same way. In the next step I went slightly over anything with gold rub n buff. The inside of the tin only had black Gesso and Lindy's Mists. I can't rub on with white gesso (in one clock tin).
Add your embellishments.........
All I can do is Share some Altered art to Inspire you to make one that best suits you
Thank you for peeking in,
